they probably use some application under windoze to fetch the map
updates in a somewhat secure fashion and pump them to your flash
on the device. Just run an xp vm under virtualbox, plug it in,
and tend the usb device to the windows system with the software.
Most of those systems are really just windows ce devices
underneath.<br>

I always have to keep a windoze system around for something in vm,
crap like that usually.<br>
