<div>Not sure why or when PLUG policy might have changed since the old DLUG, PHBUG, ASULUG groups [2006-2011] and even recent AZLOCO examples [where AZLOCO is ANNOUNCED ON the MAIN PAGE] in that "you" now suddenly don't want any open discussion or mention of other features or LUG meetings and lists other than the "announce list"?</div>

<div>This request to limit any discussion on other user groups seems incredibly NEW subjective and arbitrary [just like recent personal member email list moderation and censorship]. Where does this competing discussion policy exist where we can reference it to guide members and the community?</div>

<div>MPGLUG now hosts the HackFests at DeVry, operating under the University's OpenSource Community Charter that includes the use of a rack at OneNeck, for the purposes of student community open source involvement [which means occuring at the school] that includes an ESXi server with lab systems for pentesting, practical security academics and forensics. Hackfest interns all share access to the VMWare environment to setup practical examples to showcase recent exploits or build and test security tools. The Hackfests provide a monthy remote CTF (using OpenVPN) for the community, have custom Ubuntu Kali LIVE DVD for drop and go hacker use in the university's well maintained lab machines. </div>
