I do think all current distros are have a reason to exist or their would be no development or users. Distrowatch has a list of discontinued distros. I spend some time on criagslist linux forum and there are a lot of open suse user that are hard core server desktop users.<br>
</div> I have tested many distros but still end up back at ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04 on my desktop and servers and one debian with many desktop managers and still think that linux is a kernel and some programs around it and ubuntu has good support for new users otherwize use what you want or like<br>
