moin moin,

first off, thanks to Todd and Larry for stewarding the Installfests for
the last 8 years! I hadn't realized how long they've been involved. Great
consistency and dedication from them. Danke!

Thanks also to Mike, Jason and Walter and others who have been helping out
a lot the last couple of years.

The Tempe Installfests have been filling up twice monthly for quite some
time.

Additionally, Jason took the lead and has started a Paradise Valley
Installfest at PVCC.

At the last PLUG east side meeting the Installfest team announced there
will likely soon also be an Installfest in Surprise. At Stammtisch Todd
said there might also soon be an Installfest in Prescott.

The expansion is outstanding! The new PVCC Installfest was busy, so the
expansion is also successful.

With the popularity of the Installfests we can use a couple more regulars
who will commit to being part of the Installfest team.

That's also a lot of geography to cover. It's also 4 events a month in the
valley. Better to have more people we can count on and split the load.

The Installfest team works together to make sure someone from the team is
at each Installfest to lead the Installfest and also to make sure some
equipment such as switches, networking cables and power strips are there.

The Installfest team is also a good example of groups working together as
the Installfests are co-produced by PLUG and AzLoCo.

Please let us know if you'd like to join the Installfest team.

Also, remember to thank the Installfesters for the work they put into
advertising the Installfests and putting them on. I personally try to
thank them on a regular basis as I appreciate the service they're
providing.

ciao,
