search for "Some Text String" -c -s<br>
which would provide file names where you may find the text string you were looking for.<br>

In debian derivatives the following command will tell you what package installed a particular file:<br>
dpkg -S "filename"  (e.g. dpkg -S /usr/local/bin/search)<br>
