I also really enjoyed working for First American Title, but those two jobs aren't even remotely related. I guess I could say that I am passionate about computers however, from what I've heard the competition in the field is very fierce.
I looked at it and they wanted me to take 3 sheets and write down what I love to do, what I'm passionaate about, and what I can do to make a living. Well, I liked it when I was working in structured wiring but I didn't make enough to make a living at it. Then there is the passionate thing.... I can't say that I'm passionate about anything (head injury ensured that).

In my opinion, skip tracing is like
goggling for an elusive answer, but more boring. And once you
find the person, then you're just a bill collector. Every big
financial company hires skip tracers. Debt collection and asset
recovery firms hire skip tracers. I can't imagine anyone wanting
to be a bill collector, especially if you have a quota, which most
companies have - they only want to hire collectors that actually
collect. Skip tracing is just a part of the bill collection
process. So if you're good at research, you might do well skip
tracing. If you can sell ice to an Eskimo, you might be a good
collector. I learned a lot about skip tracing from my ex-business
partner.

You know.... I once had a girlfriend who
told me that she used to work as a skip tracer. I didn't know
what that was but I didn't say anything and that got filed away
in my mind for a later date. Well.... tonight is that later
date! So I typed it into my search engine (duckduckgo) and found
out what it is. I think it sounds cool! So, my question (for
those of you who know) how do I go about getting training and
whom do I seek jobs from? I found http://www.skiptraceseminar.com/ but
want to know if anyone has any personal experience. (I'm getting
excited)
