</div><div>you don't need the '--extract-audio' or the 'audio-format' but you need the quotes (" "). There are a lot of options and (supposedly) it works with things other than youtube (never needed to try).  For instance you can save it in other video/audio formats. Up also don't need the '-o' but if you don't use it you will get cryptic file names.</div>

In Firefox I could click on the link and get an option to open with vlc or save.  Right clicking gave me the save as option.  Clicking on it in konqueror gave me the option to save or open with vlc.  Joe I'm curious what browser you're using.<div>

In this case, assuming that you're using Firefox, either:<br>

1) right-mouse-click on the individual movie link and choose "Save Link As..."<br>

2) While the video is playing in the browser, use File -> Save Page As...<br>
(using the menu at the top of the browser window.)<br>

I use the minitube application to download from Youtube, which is a completely<br>
different beast/situation.<br>
