I am not sure what UBUNTU is up to these days. I try every other
new release, and always go back to Linux Mint.<br>

So, you have done the install? And, have FRODO? Or, EDEN?<br>

is a PPA! With that information I was able to locate tghe

well, I decided to move my secondary computer into
the living room and just run xmbc as a program
(bummer). So I go to a terminal and:
<div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>~$ sudo apt-get install xbmc</div>

<div>Building dependency tree </div>

<div>E: Unable to locate package xbmc</div>

<div>so update my apt database but that doesn't help
any. Then I do a little web searching and find
that apt-get is the way I should do it. I found
the '=Installing_XBMC_for_Linux#Ubuntu_2' page and
it implies that xmbc id in the official ubuntu
repository so apt should do it. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>So please, what am I doing wrong?</div>
