Looking for opinions on email providers

Proton is pretty cool. and honestly, Gmail is pretty solid on its own. The
real trick is how you prefer to handle your email, if all you want is
imap/smtp then you are good to go with just about anyone.

You can look into providers such as Dreamhost, or even AWS free tier and
see if you can get what you need there.
