How to upgrade my Kubuntu?

Sorry I should have mentioned the laptop is an old cheep dell i3 w/ 2 
cores and 4 threads and 4Gb of RAM. I put Kubuntu 20.04 on it some time 
ago.  I do not recall when.  Maybe 6 months ago.

Okay I see Discover->update.  Now I need to recover my password.
