Good idea:

$ sudo cupsenable ENVY_Photo_7800_series
[sudo] password for bmike1:
cupsenable: Operation failed: client-error-not-found

maybe I got the name wrong. I guessed at that by looking at the CUPS output:
ENVY-Photo-7800-seriesENVY-Photo-7800-series

I used the wrong one?
$ sudo cupsenable ENVY-Photo-7800-series
$
I didn't get an error message and my test print worked.
Brian you are a genius! Thanks.
