Pheonix OS

Interesting, Phoenix OS is technically Android/Android x86. Most of the
official Chromebook devices can install and run Android apps directly from
the Google Play Store. Have you looked into this path?

Many Chromebook's are not able to do the whole, let's install an OS and go
path.
