Is it safe to dd two drives, if you want to simply transfer data?

Aaron  FYI windows OS tags to CPU from my testing over the years but there
are options to re-register if needed (Hardware upgrade)both online and
phone call

I often have to re-register when moving Physical to virtual Servers
