Dell RAM limit

These limits are usually set by the highest value tested with that BIOS.
It usually will work with the larger RAM, but there will be no guarantees.

Consider the larger memory in the same context as over clocking.  It may
work, it may not, or it may work for a while then fail.  All Dell is saying
is that it is untested, and they will not warranty such a configuration.
