OT: Unable to recreate login error

Thanks!!  User was using a stored user name and password which created 
an error when trying to access a .htaccess password protected directory. 
  Then the user tried typing in a valid user name and invalid password.  
Once they had the proper password, they were able to log in.

Interestingly enough I was not able to recreate the log error.  I'm 
guessing the password stored in the browser became corrupted.
