I See A Great Need:  Boot a kernel that isn't signed with an approved 
key, and Mark Hamill shows up and slices you in half with a lightsabre.

autocorrect on all my devices... it just seems to cause more stupid than 
it solves.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI ?  That looks like it might have 
some useful info and stuff to try if you're still stuck.
