More "update" problems ...

The only issue I've had with a graphics card in the last 10 years was with
an nvidia card; kernel 3.11+ blows up their native drivers.  The nouveau
driver works but it has issues with laggy video/etc.  With a laptop you
can't really do anything about it but on my desktop that had that problem I
followed Linus Torvald's advice...
