Well it is gone.  Yikes!!  I guess I have to start all over.

Yup, that would do it.  No password to auth against, and even if there 
were there is no home directly to drop you into... so no login.

Do a find for them, if you were just mv-ing stuff around its probably 
just some place else, and just needs to be moved back.
