For extra fun, have a client who gives you a DTD, but also has requirements
like "<junk> tags can contain at most 512 characters", which is not something
that you can actually put into a DTD. Then have this client wait months after
getting XML before complaining that the <junk> tags have too much stuff in
them.

The fix required adding more Perl to a thing that already had a ton of Perl,
but at least they stopped complaining about having too much <junk> in their
<trunk>.
