Stupid question: Why are you getting credit card numbers in the first
place? Why aren't the orders going through a secure payment gateway?
Maybe such a filter would solve the wrong problem.

Subject: SMTP proxy for masking credit card numbers

I’m looking for a lightweight, open-source STMP proxy that I can use to
mask credit card numbers on inbound messages. This is
content-manipulation or content-scrubbing vs. content-filtering. I’m
sure this can be done with quite a few packages, but what’s your
recommendation?
