------------------------------------

FREE GEEK is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization that recycles and
reuses technology to provide computers, education, internet access and job
skills training in exchange for community service.

We are hiring a new Institutional Outreach and Development Coordinator.
Our many programs rely on the hardware that is donated to our
organization. We process this end-of-life technology with the help of
our volunteers to provide no-cost and low-cost technology to the
community.

Many businesses and government agencies upgrade their technological
infrastructure on a regular schedule. We are looking for someone to
promote Free Geek as a recipient for this outgoing technology, meeting
the business or government agency's need to recycle while helping Free
Geek meet its mission.

The Institutional Outreach and Development Coordinator will work to both
create new, and maintain current relationships with local businesses and
government agencies to ensure a steady stream of technology.

This is a job in a worker collective. Your first six months will be as a
provisional member of the collective. At the end of that time Free
Geek's decision whether or not to bring you on as a permanent collective
member will be made through a peer review process.
