OT: SSD and EMP

Wouldn't you be better off saving your HAM radio at that point?  We could discuss this forever, however if there is an EMP we have bigger problems.

This is why the discerning paranoiacs always keep a spare laptop inside a
Faraday cage in case of nearby nuclear weapons tests.  :-P
