OT: SSD and EMP

That begs the question - if the device you store your data on is not effected by an emp what will you read it with?  And how will you use the data?  Every part of our computers will be effected - destroyed.

Anyway, an EMP would knock out data on hard drives, would it not?

A co-worker says SSD is not magnetic, so would not be affected by an EMP.
Is that correct?
