Debian Reinstall MPlayer with mp3lame support

I'm trying to use mencoder to convert ogv to avi and it's saying that
mplayer wasn't install with mp3lame. I've searched around on how to get
mplayer installed with mp3lame support but the instructions were hard to
understand.

I don't suppose there is a way with apt-get to do something like:
apt-get install mplayer (with mp3lame)?
