I have had mixed results with Unbooten (sp). Puppy Liinux has its own USB bootable function once you are on its desktop. Privatix does well making a bootable usb. In the past IIRC it was really just a matter of finding a true .img and doing a dd to that drive. No this is not the same as using an .iso. vp
