OT: Hijacked botnet exposes startling online habits

The rootkit (mebroot) and the botnet payload (torpig) used in this case are 100% Windows-only software.  All infected machines were Windows machines.

That doesn't mean that no botnets infect other O/S platforms, only that this particular botnet is 100% Windows.
