Bummer... I busted the MBR. :(

I would BLINDLY trust:
dd if=other-MBR.iso of=/dev/sda bs=446 count=1 

I would NOT trust FIXBOOT and/or just about anything Micro$haft to 
manipulate my partitions...   ;-)
