Yes, you can verify that the branch of development for samba from that project.

Generally when Fedora (or Ubuntu) package a distro, they use the most
recent stable source at the time of the release.

More excellent work for PLUG-sters.

It's suggested that whoever test to verify also update Bugzilla in a
fine report (for posterity and to prove your development and debug
engineering).
