OT: deceased erstwhile microwave oven

We replaced it (reminder: my wife's decision...) because we really thought
that there was some "technical malfunction" <--(trivia: that is a 2-word
"quote" from the movie Apollo 13...)

and we thought that, it would not work, and/or, that
it could be dangerous to a nearby person (even if
they did not have any pace maker...).

In addition to the above,

I do not think it does.
and -- that "pre heart attack" fridge, DID work!
(it was just "on the brink of" conking out...)
