Wubi installation, Antivirus for Windows in Linux

You can also try this: http://free-av.com/en/tools/12/avira_antivir_rescue_system.html 
. It will make a bootable CD (that runs Linux) that scans for viruses  
and other bad stuff. Because it's running from a bootable CD any  
rootkits in Windows can't hide because they aren't running.
