WRT Static IP Addresses [was Re: GPL LinkSys Firmware &sveasoft.com]

Honestly...  i think tomato is a lot bettter that ddwrt..   I'm not a
networking genius by any streth of the imagination, but from a functional
perspective i have to reboot the unit far less than i ever did with stock or
DDWRT FW.   I loaded it up first about 10 months ago, and haven't spend much
effort on ddwrt since.  ddwrt feels like a  re-skin with a few extra
features...  tomato is just a whole lot better UI and admin console.
graphing and charting of BW usage is excellent as well...  i keep track of
my BW uage on NVRAM in the routers.  it keeps daily/monthly/year totals that
stay after reboots/upgrades.  if you haven't tried it, i highly recomment
it.

make sure you read up about the passwords...  doing a full hard reset before
flashing is advisable and validate the default password before you go
tomato.
