doh. you're right it *IS* SHIFT-left SHIFT-right, I do it all the time 
without ever thinking, and told you wrong.
anyway the concept is still there.

of course, most of my programming is in perl, or bash, with just a tiny 
bit of c mixed in.
so YMMV.
