power button advise

I discovered how to make it so a laptop won't power off if the power

button is accidently pressed! What I do is open a text document and

do something to it that will make it prompt you if you want to save it

before it closes. That way if the power button is pressed it will

give you the prompt and then (for my computer) I wait for a question

whether I WANT to shut down everything immediately.

Does anyone know how to make it so the power button will not turn off

a laptop? I have a tohiba satellite m-36x . Google was of little help.
