funny thing is that the NEA is not against linux as posted on the bottom 
of the page http://www.nea.org/lessons/2005/tt050124.html. Sure most of 
those programs are for windows, but the cool thing is that they do not 
care just as long as the students are able to learn. In my opinion we 
might be able to use the fact that most of the programs that student 
uses are in the form of opensource (edbuntu anybody). We can also show 
how easy it is to use compared to a couple of years ago, after all, a 
school was able to set up linux servers. Further proof that i can 
provide is the fact that at my school there was a mix of mac os and 
windows. Personally though, I think this is just one teacher thinking 
this way, I am pretty sure that teachers will adopt linux in their class 
rooms one day.
