PlaneShift on Ultimate Ubuntu

I used to play that game. I haven't been in it for quite a while now.
you need to check their FAQ.and forums site. it seems this is a known issue.

also, this game does NOT require root level permissions in order to
run (I installed my under my home dir in ~/lib/PlaneShift and it
worked fine).
