LVM2 and resizing

I'll say that I've been resizing production machines for a few years now 
without any issues.  This includes ext3 and reiserfs.  One of the 
partitions I am frequently resizing contains our Scalix mail store.  So 
far, I haven't had any issues with locking, db's, etc.
