Now that your USB problem is fixed, let's go back to
the original problem - Office 2007.

Is this a hard requirement that OpenOffice cannot
address?  If MSO2007 is absolutely required, will
CrossOver Office work for you?

Just looking for alternatives to dual booting . . .
