qmail WAS How difficult is it to run your own email server?

Here here!  Postfix, with MySQL for virtual hosting, Amavisd setup w/
ClamAV & SpamAssassin, it's really easy.  The mail logging is standard
for the most part, if you can read sendmail mail logs, you can read
postfix logs, and they are laid out much the same.  That is essential
when someone isn't familiar with MTA's other than sendmail.  Most MTA's
have learning curves when setting up and configuring, but imho, Postfix
is by far the easiest with it's standard variable=value layout and using
spaces and # for commenting.

I sooo wish I could change my work systems to Postfix too.
