CloneZilla messed up my drive - How do I get it out of a RAWstate?

Partition table is their and the del EISA partition is still available
under knopix but the boot drive is DOA.  TestDisk shows the two tables
and even reports the primary partition correctly but I can not actually
access the partition

I've never used Clonezilla, is the partition table gone? perhaps you
might want to try to run testdisk and see what it says.
