SSH Key Auth - Synergy

For those who looked at my SSH key problem earlier I should indicate
that I wiped out my windows box and was setting stuff up again. As part
of that I wanted to get synergy working, but since I don't trust any
network I tunnel synergy through SSH. The default ssh client I had did
not support port forwarding without paying for a professional license,
so I installed cygwin\OpenSSH and, besides being a slow download/install
it worked out very well. I then created a simple script to use the keys
I set up and make the port forward connection "ssh -f -N -L
24800:fedora.cornerstonehome.com:24800
boneal at fedora.cornerstonehome.com" in my case. I set this to run on
start up and used the synergy client's set up GUI to initiate the
synergy client at startup also. I first tried to put the start up
command in the script but that did not work. It connected and the
server behaved normally but the client could not receive any mouse or
keyboard commands from the server until after client login. Also it
would not send Ctl-Alt-Del commands. My mouse is still a bit jumpy, but
I think that will go away once I unplug the direct connect from the
client box.

Just thought I would keep you updated and say thanks again to Darrin
(and Preston) for helping me once again achieve one keyboard and mouse
on my desk!

Now to figure out an easy way to boot a laptop with STA drives into
PCDOS7 for ghosting...
