Thanks for the offer, but it's not urgent.  I'm just frustrated because 
I'm trying to get ffmpeg set up on this system, and I've been running 
into one roadblock after another...

Don't know why I can't find the 7z decoder on mine.  My guess is that 
they couldn't use the 7zip name, so it must be called something

I'll check the packaging manager.
