Jan Free Software classes

Mesa Community College is offering several Free Software classes starting
in January. Please signup soon to make sure you get a seat and to make
sure the classes aren't canceled due to lack of participation.

At the Business and Industry Institute der.hans is now adjuct faculty
scheduled to teach Linux Network Administration. The class is worth three
3 credits and runs from 18:00 to 21:55 on Mondays and Wednesdays from
2007Jan14 through 2007Mar05.

There are also an two intrductory courses, Linux Operating System. One is
Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 21:55 from 2007Jan14 through
2007Mar05. The other is Saturday mornings from 08:00 to 11:40 from
2007Jan19 through 2007Mar03. Phillip Waclawski might be teaching the night
class.

Several students are also pushing for a shell scripting class starting in
January, but nothing official on that thus far. If you'd also like to take
the shell scripting class contact the Business and Industry Institute and
ask the status
on the class.

Phillip has several classes on MCC's main campus by Fiesta Mall as well.
