HELP! Need a laptop for Linux Expo Tomorrow!

I second Joe's advice.

My wife's Toshiba with all Intel chipset (wireless, video, sound all
Intel) took the Linux install without a hitch.  There was an extra
binary blob to install for the wireless but that was easy.
