LVM Snapshots and Samba Shadow Copy

I like rsnapshot.  It uses hard links to reduce the spaced used. The
partition you store rnapshot snapshots on has to support links, but
I've used it to backup remotely files via SMB (mounted) and SSH (via
rsync args set in the config file).  I use it a lot on the web
servers.
