How do I save a disk image of my laptop hard drive?

True, but accoeding to http://www.partimage.org/Main_Page the NTFS support
is still experimental and could be problematic. The link Goerge gave for
the Trinity Rescue kit
http://trinityhome.org/Home/index.php?wpid=1&front_id=12 includes partimage
(I think I saw in there somewhere) but claims to be reliable for NTFS due to
using ntfs_3g which I think I have seen referents to elsewhere. It bears
investigation anyway.
