My wife loves her Palm Z22.  Basic functions with a nice color screen.
Bit on the small side, IMO.  It is also one of their basic and low cost
offerings.

OpenSUSE 10.1 syncs without a problem.  Fedora Core 3(?) needed some
help which I documented here:

I have not tried any other recent Palm based devices.
