I don't know what is causing the PCI parity errors but that doesn't look
good...perhaps there is something amiss in BIOS - perhaps the best thing
you can do is to remove all forced assignments in BIOS and let PCI & the
OS handle interrupts.
anyway, the command was to 'tail -n 20 dmesg' which as you found out
didn't work
this does work though...
dmesg|tail -n 20
