Yes, make sure of that, especially if you have another MTA is on there
(which I am betting is the case given 'mail's existence). The sendmail
symlinks (/usr/sbin/sendmail and /usr/lib/sendmail usually) should point
to /var/qmail/bin/sendmail. Some automatic package managers (apt, yum,
yast, etc) will clobber those symlinks when the MTA gets upgraded.

If you'd like to dodge the bullet, you can also configure Squirrel to
use localhost:25 for outbound mail instead of the sendmail symlink.
