Automatic SMP?

Huh... I would have *thought* that it would be automatic but I can't find any 
reference to it.  I also don't have a ready SMP box to test on.

That said, it's easy enough to switch kernels.  Assuming you haven't switched 
to 'apt', 'yum', or 'smart', here's how to do it:

1. YaST -> Software -> Software Management
2. Search for 'kernel-smp'.  Click and install
3. YaST -> System -> Boot Loader
4. Change the smp kernel to be the default
