Hi, Mage.

I'm sorry things are so tight for you. When I was out of
work for 19 months at age 58-59, after 30+ comfortable
years in the computer biz, I was able to drag pallets around
a warehouse, drive a truck, do light assembly work in a
factory ($7/hour, 40-mile commute). I considered myself
lucky to have those options.

Being unemployed is definitely the hardest job there is.
By definition, you've never done enough. The lack of
money hurts, but the boredom and emotional starvation
are the real problem. The good news is, it only takes one
opportunity (as long as it lasts) to get you out of the hole.

Have you been through the Voc-Rehab mill?

Do you have an advocate at Center for Disability Law
working on your case?

It might help us to know exactly where you live
(major cross-streets).

Vic
